While having beers at a bar one evening, the team, who ultimately created The Pretzel Company, found that the pretzels they were served simply weren’t satisfying. “[They] decided that they did not like most pretzels. They thought they could do better. Then they did!” 

The Pretzel Company is located in York County, Pennsylvania, right down the road from the Snack Food Capital of the World. Pretzels are having a moment, so they’re in the right place at the right time. They are tirelessly focused on a high-quality, hand-twisted pretzel, and we could not be more excited to support them.

Their path to becoming a high growth business started during COVID when they had to pivot quickly from serving local restaurants and their own storefront—all of which shut down—to deploying a full online strategy. This new business model enabled them to scale their revenue and refocus their energies on new areas of the business. A swift transition period ensued, which maxed out the production capacity in their space downtown. 

The Pretzel Company and White Rose Ventures saw potential to accommodate this growth. In August 2022, The Pretzel Company moved into a larger facility in northern York, enabling them to produce three times the pretzels they could create in their former space—with room to grow. They’ve also begun selling their pretzels on QVC. In a breakout series of appearances, they have sold out four times in a row.
