White Rose Ventures Announces Closure of $11.9M Venture Fund
The White Rose Impact Fund, backed by a consortium of forward-thinking, progressive institutions, has garnered widespread support from esteemed investors. Foundations, academic institutions, corporate partners, and private investors have all joined hands to champion the potential of South Central Pennsylvania’s brightest minds. Notable institutional investors include the Powder Mill Foundation, J. William Warehime Foundation, Fulton Bank, WellSpan Health, York County Community Foundation, Arthur J. and Lee R. Glatfelter Foundation, Select Capital Group and York College of Pennsylvania, each bringing their unique expertise and resources to the table.
The White Rose Ventures team is driven by a shared vision to identify, invest in and support the most promising early-stage companies in South Central Pennsylvania. Since they started investing in November 2021, they have diligently evaluated numerous entrepreneurs and created a portfolio of high-potential companies. Through strategic investments totaling $4.98 million, White Rose Ventures has already propelled the growth of nine local companies, including Naqi Logix, Reflexion, cyberconIQ, Pledge It, EVERMIND, TEAMology, ReturnLogic, Gilson Snow, and The Pretzel Company.
Building upon their commitment to entrepreneur-led economic development, White Rose Ventures goes beyond financial investments. They also host a nonprofit arm, Braided River Collective, which connects thinkers, doers, innovators, investors, and support organizations through programs such as Keystone Merge and WayFinder EcoMap.
